‘GMA’ May milestone
Chalk up another milestone for the rejuvenated “Good Morning America.”
The ABC morning show won its first May sweeps, in total viewers, in 18 years — and also claimed victory in the “money” news demo of adults 25-54 (for the first time in 19 years).
For the month, “GMA” (George Stephanopoulos, Robin Roberts, Josh Elliott) averaged 5.7 million viewers and 2.1 million viewers in adults 25-54.
Second-place “Today” averaged 4.8 million viewers and 1.9 million viewers 25-54.
“CBS This Morning” finished third (3 million total viewers and 1.1 million viewers in adults 25-54).
