THERE’S a “Grotesque” twist to this week’s album charts, thanks to the ghoulish Marilyn Manson. His “The Golden Age of Grotesque” mined the top spot in its first week out, selling 118,557 discs, according to SoundScan.

At No. 3, Cold‘s “Year of the Spider” is the only other new CD to crawl onto the top 10 list.

Queens rap king 50 Cent still knows how to “Get Rich or Die Tryin’,” back in the No. 2 spot.

Look for Staind and Deftones to slip into the two top spots next week.
