Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) is back.
Fresh off Smart’s third Emmy win for her portrayal of the aging stand-up comedian, “Hacks” is returning for its fourth season tonight, April 20.
Season 4 is expected to pick up right where last spring’s third season ended. Ava (Hannah Einbinder) has just secured the head writer position on Deborah’s new late-night talk show only after she threatens to reveal Deborah’s fling with the married CEO of the corporation that owns Deborah’s network (Tony Goldwyn).
