The Maker will soon be a pocket-size infantryman.

In a meta move by Hasbro, “Star Wars” creator George Lucas will soon be available as a 6-inch stormtrooper action figure as part of a collectible toy line.

The miniature version of Lucas, 77, clad in stormtrooper armor with a removable helmet and plaster is set to become available in 2022. His release is timed to his production company Lucasfilm’s 50th anniversary.

“As a lifelong Star Wars fan, I have both the honor and privilege to bring characters from the franchise to life in product form every single day,” Hasbro senior director of product design Vicki Stratford said in a release about tiny George. “When the opportunity came to design the George Lucas figure, we were especially excited for this project. This figure is just one of the many ways we can honor his legacy for years to come and we hope fans cherish it as much as we did!”

This is not the first time Lucas’ likeness is being used to break the fourth wall: In 2002, Hasbro released a 3.75-inch rebel pilot technically named Jorg Sacul but actually made to look like Lucas. Then, in 2006, Lucas was twice shrunk down, first to a stormtrooper and then as his “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” character Baron Notluwiski Papanoida.

“But this,” the release emphasizes, “is Lucas’ debut in the modern, highly-articulated and detailed 6-inch format provided by the Black Series.”

New mini Lucas (in stormtrooper disguise) is now available for preorder at Big Bad Toy Store and Entertainment Earth.

Meanwhile, living Lucas is spending his time doing full-size human things including tenderly cradling Baby Yoda to the great joy of “Star Wars” fans everywhere.
