A Barack Obama cam paign worker from California has been identified as the man on whose shoulder Oprah Winfrey cried during an election-night victory rally in Chicago.

Co-workers say he is Sam Perry, who worked at the Silicon Valley for Obama office.

Oprah said Wednesday she didn’t know the man but thanked the guy she called “Mr. Man” for letting her cry on his shoulder.

Perry must have realized he had been ID’d.

His listed phone number and email address were changed yesterday, the AP reports. – Post staff writer
