NBC seems to have fig ured out a way to keep “Heroes” alive while the show is on hiatus.

It’s a feat whose results may not be seen until the show returns on April 23, but signs point to a more successful campaign than the one that ABC tried to mount when it pulled its own popular serial drama, “Lost.

The latest round in NBC’s off-air “Heroes” campaign was a three-minute video clip posted on an NBC MySpace site in which a key character, underworld boss Linderman (Malcolm McDowell), reveals that he is among the group of humans who have super powers.

“Heroes” online stuff has been a big hit, generating more than 50 million page and 30 million video views.
