HOT SHOTS FIRE AGAIN
EVERYTHING old is new again – especially if you’re fans of “Hunter” stars Fred Dryer and Stepfanie Kramer.
NBC is thinking about resuscitating “Hunter” as a regular series after a reunion movie, “Hunter: Return to Justice,” scored big numbers earlier this month, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
There’s no deal yet, but insiders say NBC could produce six episodes of the one-hour series with Dryer and Kramer reprising their roles.
If so, it would be perhaps the first time in TV history that a show was revived as a regular series over a decade since it last aired. “Hunter” originally aired on NBC from 1984-91.
NBC has another “Hunter” movie scheduled for February.
