The Tribeca Film Festival started in 2002 as a way to support a neighborhood — and city — put down but not out by September 11. Since then, it’s grown (too much, some might say) into more than a film festival, including lectures, panel discussions, street fairs, art exhibits and even the occasional red carpet. Whether you’re a budding cineaste or simply looking for a nice way to pass a Saturday afternoon, the TFF, starting today and continuing through May 3, has something to offer. Check out The Post’s guide to the sprawling affair.
