‘AMERICAN Idol” host Ryan Seacrest will return for a second go-round – but the fate of his co-host, Brian Dunkleman, remains uncertain.

Seacrest has signed a deal worth close to $1 million to return to “Idol,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

As of yesterday, Dunkleman had yet to sign a deal – and sources have speculated that Fox might be looking to pair Seacrest with a contestant from the first “Idol,” most likely a female.

Fox will reunite all 30 “Idol” finalists tomorrow night to perform a (pre-taped) show from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.-
