JENNIFER Hudson quietly slipped onto the set of “American Idol” last week to give the latest crop of contestants a pep talk.

“It was elimination day,” the “Dreamgirls” star says. “I said ‘Remember it’s okay if you get eliminated!’ I’m the perfect person to tell them that.”
