WRENS RENDEZVOUS: Label woes prevented the Wrens from releasing an album for nearly seven years. But it was worth the wait for “The Meadowlands,” an indie pop album full of guitar treats released in last summer. The Garden State artists, who once got fired from a gig after performing the Pixies’ hard-driving “Debaser” to a senior citizens crowd in Cape May, N.J., take the stage Tuesday night at 9 at the Bowery Ballroom. Hold Steady and Travis Morrison (ex-Dismemberment Plan) also perform. Admission is $14. Bowery Ballroom, 6 Delancey St., at the Bowery; (212) 533-2111.
