GREY’S Anatomy” star Isaiah Washington, who used a gay slur against cast mate T.R. Knight last fall, has removed himself from Emmy consideration this year.

Washington declined to submit himself for a possible Emmy nomination as Best Supporting Actor in a Drama, according to Variety – probably figuring voters wouldn’t give him the time of day after his treatment of Knight.

Washington used the slur against Knight during an on-set argument with co-star Patrick Dempsey.

He got into further hot water last January when, during the Golden Globes, he repeated the slur.
