BEFORE Michael Jackson died, the Jackson brothers filmed a one-hour pilot for A&E that was supposed to include a reunion performance of the famous Jackson 5.

However, the King of Pop never agreed to appear on the show and with his untimely passing, the project was abandoned — until now.

Sources report A&E will go forward with a new twist on the original footage — a series that will chronicle the Jacksons’ lives and their reaction to their famous brother’s death.

The pilot is set to air on A&E within a month.
