JENNIFER Aniston wants to be “Friends” again.
The sitcom-sweetie-turned-movie-star told British broadcasters yesterday that she misses playing Rachel with Monica, Chandler, Ross, Joey and Phoebe on the long-running hit NBC comedy.
“The only thing I can think of doing is maybe for fun doing a Thanksgiving episode,” Aniston said yesterday on the UK’s Channel 4 talk show, “Richard and Judy.”
Aniston, 37, was in London this week promoting her new movie with her boyfriend, Vince Vaughn.
She shouldn’t hold her breath, though.
A spokeswoman for Warner Bros., the studio that produced “Friends,” said there has been no preliminary discussions about a “Friends” reunion show.
Studio sources said that rumors of a possible reunion have been floating around since the comedy ended its 10-year run in 2004. “I don’t even think she [Aniston] has mentioned this to anybody [at Warner Bros.],” an industry insider said.
The group of six have not been reunited on screen since the “Friends” finale, but even the short-lived Matt LeBlanc spinoff, “Joey,” did not entice the stars to get back together.
