‘JEOPARDY’ STREAK STILL GOING
‘JEOPARDY!” whiz Ken Jennings’ win ning streak rolls on.
Jennings, who develops software for a healthcare company, continued to steamroll the competition on last night’s edition of the quiz show, extending his winning streak to 19 consecutive episodes.
Going into tonight’s episode, Jennings’ has banked $622,760 in total winnings so far.
Last night’s win came out of a rocky ending – Jennings blew the episode’s last question – about author Toni Morrison’s “Song of Solomon” during Final Jeopardy!
He wagered and lost $7,000, but it wasn’t enough for his competitors.
Jennings is married with a young son.
The possibility of long-term winning streaks became a reality recently when “Jeopardy!” producers changed the game’s rules so that a champion could continue appearing on the show until they lose.
