JERRY Springer is gone as host of “America’s Got Talent.”

Springer said in a statement that he’s leaving the show because of other commitments, including his syndicated talk show and a stage role. He didn’t offer details about the play.

Springer got an image makeover when he appeared in 2006 on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” and won viewers’ affection with his self-deprecating humor.

The stint on “America’s Got Talent” followed in summer 2007, when Springer took over from Regis Philbin.

Springer called his job on “Talent,” which airs on NBC, “an amazing ride.”

His replacement for the upcoming fourth season has not been announced.
