Jerry Seinfeld is reteaming with NBC for a reality show called “The Marriage Ref,” which will feature celebs, athletes and comedians giving advice to bickering married couples.
NBC has ordered six hour-long episodes of “The Marriage Ref,” which is scheduled to air this fall.
It’s Seinfeld’s first TV project since “Seinfeld” ended its run in May 1998 after nine years. He’ll executive-produce the show, which he created, and might occasionally appear on-camera.
“This is not a therapy show, it’s a comedy show,” Seinfeld said in a statement.
“After nine years of marriage, I have discovered that the comedic potential of this subject is quite rich.”
