LOOKS like “The Office” sweethearts Jim and Pam are giving new meaning to the term “A Bird in the Hand.”

The longstanding workplace couple finally tie the knot in a very special, hourlong episode of “The Office” airing Oct. 8 on NBC (9 p.m.).

And, as these photos from Entertainment Weekly show, actors John Krasinski (Jim) and Jenna Fischer (Pam) had a great time shooting their wedding scene — and sharing a bit of their “wedding cake” with each other.

Jim and Pam’s Big Day, which is supposed to take place in a Niagara Falls banquet hall, was actually shot at a restaurant in Burbank, Calif.

Krasinski says he doesn’t think the couple’s nuptials will throw cold water on their romance — which has kept viewers of “The Office” enthralled for five seasons.

“It’s about keeping this relationship as real as we can instead of making it a television romance,” he tells Entertainment Weekly.

“When you have two characters who are so perfect for each other, it’s a little weird for them to not get married.”
