‘DANCING with the Stars” vet Joey Fat one will go toe-to-toe on the red carpet with E!’s Ryan Seacrest.

Fatone, who also hosts NBC’s “Singing Bee,” will co-anchor TV Guide Network’s red-carpet awards coverage with Lisa Rinna.

Fatone and Rinna, hired earlier this year, replace Joan and Melissa Rivers.

“Ryan [Seacrest] is the consummate professional, but Joey comes at it from a different angle,” says TV Guide Network president Ryan O’Hara.

Seacrest, aside from hosting this year’s Emmy telecast, covers the red carpet for E! – putting him in direct battle with Fatone and Rinna.

O’Hara says his co-hosts give the network more rounded coverage. “When you look at what fans want, they want to get deep into fashion – that’s Lisa’s specialty,” he says.

“Joey comes at it from a male perspective. And, for the Grammys especially, he’s a music industry insider.”
