The man suspected of killing K-Pop star Samuel’s father Jose Arredondo was busted in Mexico on Monday night, authorities said.

The suspect was only identified as Roberto N. as per local laws, according to KGET-TV, but officials also released his photo.

“That particular person was a friend of his for 20 years,” said Laura Arredondo, Jose’s sister. Cops and the victim’s relatives do not believe he acted alone.

Arredondo was beaten to death inside his condo in Cabo San Lucas on July 15.

“He was not a fighter, he would see someone argue and he would walk away,” said Laura Arredondo. “He was not a fighter and for someone to do that to him, it doesn’t have a name.”

Monday would have been Jose Arredondo’s 61st birthday.

His son, the singer ‘Samuel” whose real name is Samuel Kim Arredondo, said at a service Monday at New Life Church in Southwest Bakersfield, “He really reached out and helped the community. I really hope one day I can be the man he was.”

There is no known motive for the murder, and authorities in Mexico are still looking for other possible suspects.
