ADVERTISED as the first Bollywood movie shot at a Hollywood studio with an appearance by a major US star, Sabbir Khan’s proudly silly “Kambakkht Ishq” (“Incredible Love” in English) otherwise hews closely to a familiar Indian pattern.

There are six musical numbers in this 2½-hour action/comedy about a misogynistic stuntman (Akshay Kumar, the Adam Sandler look-alike from “Chandi Chowk to China”) who alternately bickers with and tries to bed a haughty but hot supermodel/doctor (Kareena Kapoor).

Blackface, custard pies, a musical watch accidentally left behind during surgery — “Kambakkht Ishq” has it all, including extended cameos by Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards and Brandon Routh as themselves. The filmmakers also help themselves to red-carpet footage of even bigger American stars.

Running time: 142 minutes. In English and Hindi with English subtitles. Not rated (sexual suggestiveness). At the ImaginAsian, the Loews Village, others.
