OSCAR-winning Diane Keaton is ditching the big screen for the little screen.

Keaton is set to executive produce and star in a half-hour HBO comedy, playing an old bra-burning icon attempting to restart the feminist movement with a new porn magazine for women in a half-hour comedy.

The project will be written by Marti Noxon (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer“), who also executive produces alongside Dawn Parouse (“Prison Break“), reports the Hollywood Reporter. When scouting for a star, Keaton was Noxon and Parouse’s first choice.

“There are a lot of similarities between Diane and Gloria Steinem,” Parouse said. “They both grew up in the ’50s, a period marked by women finding their relevance sexually, and Diane has been attracted to roles about women exploring their sexuality in films like ‘Something’s Gotta Give.’ ” —
