“FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES”:The Museum of Modern Art’s free Friday night movie program for high school students offers screenings of classic and current films, and a discussion afterward with film curators and MoMA educators. The event kicks off today at 5 p.m. with a screening of John Frankenheimer’s “The Manchurian Candidate” (1962), starring Frank Sinatra, Janet Leigh and Angela Lansbury. The program will run through Nov. 19. Free for high school students with ID only. Admission is first come, first served.
