KNOCK, KNOCK. GORDON’S BACK
WACKY Gordon Elliott is returning to ”Good Day New York.”
Elliott, the tall (6-foot-7) Australian native whose assortment of stunts kept ”GDNY” viewers entertained on-and-off from 1988-97, will return to the morning show (7-9 a.m. on WNYW/Ch.5) on Monday for a seven-week run.
During his stints on ”GDNY,” Elliott was known for knocking on doors in the early-morning hours, bulldozing his way in and even having breakfast with his ”victims.”
After leaving ”GDNY,” Elliott hosted his own syndicated talk show, ”The Gordon Elliott Show” (1993-97).
Elliott was scheduled to host Disney’s syndicated version of the classic game show ”Let’s Make a Deal,” but the show was scrapped earlier this year when it wasn’t sold in enough markets across the country.
