As the French pension protests continued to cause chaos Thursday, Lady Gaga emerged as an unforeseen victim of the strikes.
The outlandish U.S. singer was forced to cancel this weekend’s Paris concerts due to “logistical difficulties.”
Lady Gaga was scheduled to perform her “Monster Ball Tour” in France’s capital on Oct. 22 and 23, but postponed the dates because “there is no certainty that the trucks can make it to the Bercy [sports arena] for this weekend’s shows,” according to a statement published on her website.
The Paris shows — featuring her self-proclaimed “first-ever pop electro opera” — were rescheduled for Dec. 19 and 20.
“Lady Gaga apologizes to her fans for any inconvenience,” the statement added.
