She’s taking performance art to a new level.

Lady Gaga received a tattoo on the back of her head in front of Guggenheim onlookers and online fans Thursday night.

The inking was part of her FAME fragrance launch party, which marked the end of Fashion Week. Fittingly, the tattoo work took place inside a giant perfume bottle.

The piece, as she called it, was named “Sleeping with Gaga” and involved the lingerie-clad singer downing Patron tequila and smoking, covered in lipstick prints and surrounded by friends.

The artist tattooed a section of Gaga’s head that she shaved to honor photographer Terry Richardson’s mother, who recently died. The tattoo appears to show a winged child wearing a Statue of Liberty-esque crown.
