Officials in Collingswood, NJ, the hometown of Michael Landon, have removed a plaque honoring the star of “Bonanza” and “Little House on the Prairie.

The act, which occurred during a borough-wide cleanup effort in November, has enraged some community members and diehard Landon fans.

The $1,400 plaque — located in a park — was removed due to safety concerns.

It will be returned to the park in the spring, according to Mayor Jim Maley — who says he’s received angry calls from Landon fans worldwide.

Landon was 54 when he died in 1991 after battling cancer. —
