TV’s most famous Greenpoint resident is ready to take on Manhattan.

Lena Dunham, the creator and star of HBO’s “Girls,” has signed on for a new project at the network, this one set largely in the world of Bergdorf Goodman.

The series, which Dunham will write with “Girls” executive producer and co-show runner Jenni Konner, will be based on an upcoming memoir by the head of the store’s personal shopping department, 85-year-old Betty Halbreich.

While the new show will feature a very different set of characters — wealthy fashionistas rather than struggling 20-somethings — it’s also envisioned as a comedy.

Halbreich has styled stars ranging from Meryl Streep to Katie Couric.
