JAY Leno’s final show as host of “The Tonight Show” was big.

Complete figures won’t be available until later this week, but preliminary numbers indicate that Leno drew an 8.8 rating, a bit more than twice the 5 million viewers he gets on an average night.

It was still well below Jay’s best two nights — last March when President Obama visited the show and the night after Johnny Carson died in 2005.
