Taylor Swift allegedly once asked “Saturday Night Live” creator Lorne Michaels to cut a sketch about her infamous “girl squad,” which he refused to do.
A new Vulture report about Michaels, 80, claims that the NBC series asked Swift, 35, to make a cameo in a 2015 skit that spoofed her “Bad Blood” music video, which featured Swift and her celebrity pals Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss, Ellie Goulding, Ellen Pompeo, Cindy Crawford, Hayley Williams, Mariska Hargitay, Lena Dunham and more.

Michaels, according to Vulture, “heard Swift out, but as he did he picked up a piece of popcorn from the basket on his desk.”

There were two “Bad Blood” sketches that ultimately aired on the show. The first followed Aidy Bryant and Vanessa Bayer as two young women trapped in a post-apocalyptic world ruled by Swift and her squad.
The second sketch, called “Tina & Amy’s Dope Squad,” starred Tina Fey and Amy Poehler who form a squad that includes Amy Schumer, Gayle King and Robert Downey Sr.
