MOVE over Queen Elizabeth, Marge Simpson is going to hog your airtime.

Marge and her family will go head-to-head with the Queen of England this year, during the Queen’s annual Christmas address on U.K. television.

The Queen will offer her holiday cheer on the BBC, while the Simpsons will offer their take on the holidays in a newly animated three-minute short on U.K. broadcasting rival, Channel 4.

The network snagged “The Simpsons” from its longtime spot on the BBC earlier this year.

In the past, the alternative speech has been given by a who’s who of British pop-culture. Previous participants have included Sharon Osbourne and HBO prankster, Ali G.

Last year, it was delivered by a couple that appeared on the U.K. version of the reality show “Wife Swap.”
