The ongoing JVC Jazz Festival (festivalproductions.net) joins forces with Celebrate Brooklyn! tonight with a free concert – a trio of trios – at the Prospect Park Bandshell. Featured are the Bad Plus trio (which has been known to jazzify Radiohead tunes), the Charlie Hunter Trio (which features Hunter and his eightstring guitar) and sax player James Carter (pictured) with his trio.
