Tenor sax player Ravi Coltrane, the son of Alice and John Coltrane, styles his modernized classic sound after the late Joe Henderson, as well as his famous father. His latest album, “In Flux,” captures his flow of work with his 2-year-old quartet, which features Luis Perdomo, bassist Drew Gress and drummer E.J. Strickland. Raised on Long Island and named after Indian music legend Ravi Shankar, Coltrane recently produced and played on his mother’s comeback album, which was two decades coming. He brings his quartet to the Iridium Jazz Club (1650 Broadway, at 51st Street) today through Sunday at 8 and 10 p.m. Tickets, $30 to $33. Call (212) 582-2121 for reservations.
