Don Byron and the Symphony Space Adventurers Orchestra celebrate the fifth anniversary of “Contrasting Brilliance” tomorrow night at 8 at the Symphony Space Peter Jay Sharp Theater (2537 Broadway, at 95th Street; [212] 864-1414). Byron and his ensemble, who have roots in jazz and classical music, will look at some of the composers they’ve highlighted over the years – including Sly Stone, Henry Mancini and Igor Stravinsky. Then Byron will bring up members of the Sugar Hill Gang – Master Gee, Big Bank Hank and Wonder Mike – to celebrate the pioneering rap record label Sugar Hill.

Tickets are $20-$28.
