ABSTRACT

No restaurant can be all things to all people, but Baby Jupiter certainly tries. Located a block below Houston Street, it’s one part upscale diner, one part bar and one part music lounge.

The large-paned, wrap-around windows and padded black booths make it a comfortable place to loll. Arty photo portraits line the walls and a life-sized metal shark, its teeth bared, oversees diners happily giving their own jaws a workout.
