MILEY Cyrus rocks – literally.

The “Hannah Montana” star’s second album entered the charts at #1 – making Cyrus the youngest-ever recording artist to have two #1 albums in less than a year.

“Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus,” a two-disc set released June 24, reached #1 on the Billboard Top 200 charts its first week.

That mimicked last fall’s “Hannah Montana,” which featured Cyrus on most (but not all) tracks of the album and was the first-ever TV soundtrack to hit the top Billboard spot (it’s now sold over 3 million copies).

“It doesn’t really surprise me,” says R.J. Curtis of Radio & Records magazine. “It speaks to the power of the Disney Channel and the constituency they have.

“[Miley] beat Kelly Clarkson in the amount of units moved, by a bunch – it’s really amazing.”

The new album features Cyrus singing 10 songs in her TV guise as Hannah Montana, the everyday schoolkid who moonlights as a pop star on the top-rated Disney Channel series.

She co-stars on the show with her father, Billy Ray Cyrus.

The second disc, “Meet Miley Cyrus,” features Cyrus as herself.

Miley will launch a nationwide tour in October.
