COMEDIAN Dennis Miller will host a nightly, hour-long talk show for CNBC starting in January.

“With all that’s going on in the world today, it’s nice to have a nightly platform to air my opinions,” Miller said in a statement.”

Miller, the “Saturday Night Live” alum, hosted an HBO and was on “Monday Night Football” for two years. A CNBC spokeswoman said there’s no timeslot for Miller’s new show. CNBC is only saying it will air in “prime time.” “Our audience demands smart and sharp programming, and Dennis’ new show will more than deliver on those expectations,” said CNBC president/CEO Pamela Thomas- Graham. He hosted “The Dennis Miller Show” in 1992 and launched HBO’s “Dennis Miller Live” 1994.
