IF we can agree on anything in this great divided land of ours, it’s this: Mischa Barton can’t act.

I present Exhibits A-Z: “Homecoming,” a rip-off of “Misery” in which Barton plays a psycho ex-homecoming queen who tries to win back her old high school boyfriend (Matt Long) by holding his new girlfriend hostage in a hospital bed in her home.

Barton’s utter lack of affect grinds through every clichéd scene as she tortures the new girlfriend (Jessica Stroup), taunts her about how well her disappearance has been covered up and puts the moves on the stud she once dated, now a big-shot college quarterback. Everything, including the ending, plays out exactly as you’d expect.

Running time: 90 minutes. Not rated (sexual situations, graphic violence, profanity). At the Village East, Second Avenue and 12th Street.
