GO ahead, have some M&M’s – the new pink-and-white kind. It’s one of the sweeter ways to wage war on breast cancer.

For each 8-ounce bag of pink-and-white M&M’s, the candy maker will donate 50 cents – to a maximum of $650,000 – to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, which funds cancer research, education and screening.

In the past 21 years, since its inception, the foundation has raised $450 million to fight the disease, the second biggest cancer threat in America, and the leading cause of cancer death in American women.

You’ll find the pink-and-white candies wherever M&M’s are sold.
