FREDDY and Kendra, the engaged models from Miami, snared the $1 million prize on last night’s two-hour finale of “The Amazing Race.”

The couple beat out Aaron/Hayden, Adam/Rebecca and John/Kris in reaching the finish line on the sixth version of the CBS reality show, which covered four continents, 24 cities and 40,000 miles in 11 episodes.

Last week’s episode saw the teams completing their challenges in Shanghai, China, with the teams entering the last two legs of the race on last night’s finale.

This version of the popular show, which has snared two Emmys, stirred a bit of controversy when contestant Jonathan Baker was seen pushing his wife, Victoria Fuller angering viewers.

Baker later said his behavior was taken out of context (he and Fuller were eliminated from the competition shortly thereafter).

Freddy, 34, and Kendra, 25, are both models (Freddy is also a pilot). They met two years ago on a modeling job – Kendra moved to Miami six weeks later to join her new love.

The next season of “The Amazing Race” will premiere March 1 – and will include soon-to-be-married “Survivor” contestants Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich.

This version of the series has averaged roughly 11 million viewers a week.
