* Kate Voegele, “Chicago”

Full of huge hooks, this tune is a prime example of the Ohio native’s specialty – soulful, upbeat pop-rock songs drawn straight from her personal experiences.

* The Raveonettes, “Dead Sound”

The Danish duo’s dreamy harmonies, sweet chimes and fuzzy guitars give off a beachy vibe on this track from their latest album. They’re at Bowery Ballroom on March 26.

* Chiodos, “Lexington”

The emo-rock sextet uses falsetto-like vocals and bombastic melodies to get the point across on this new single off their sophomore album “Bone Palace Ballet.” Chiodos opens for Linkin Park at the Garden on Thursday.

* Beat Union, “Pressure Zone”

The first single off the band’s US debut, “Disconnected” (out April 22), is a new wave jam with old-school punk – think the Clash – influences. The English band hits the Knitting Factory on Sunday.

* Jason Isbell, “Grown”

Formerly of the Drive-By Truckers, Isbell struck off on his own to create bluesy, country pop like this tune off his album “Sirens of the Ditch.” He’s at the Bowery Ballroom on Thursday.
