MTV is getting back into adult-animation with a new cartoon block on sister network MTV2.

The block, launching on June 9, allows MTV2 to take on Cartoon Network’s dominant Adult Swim – which offers grown-up ‘toons nearly every night and has become a major player with young men (18-35), a group prized by advertisers.

Headlining the new MTV2 animation block is “Where My Dogs At?” from stand-up comic Jeffrey Ross. Other ‘toons include “Celebrity Deathmatch” and “Chico & Guapo.”
