GET ready for the first network devoted to those with only three minutes to spare.

MySpace and Sony Pictures are launching the Minisode Network, an online network comprised of severely-edited episodes from Sony shows like “Charlie’s Angels” and “Facts of Life” that stream on MySpace.com.

Each show episode will be edited down to be three-to-five minutes long, but will still retain the story arc to hold viewers’ interest.

The new network will stream three episodes apiece from 15 classic series, according to Broadcasting & Cable – with Honda as the exclusive sponsor.

New minisodes will be added each week, with the goal of having 500 shows available by the end of the year, according to B&C.

The shows are expected to be older series, but there’s a possibility Sony could add some of its soaps to the network’s programming roster.

“We’ve come up with an innovative formula to create quality short-term programming, showcasing the best of our extensive library,” says Sony Pictures Television president Steve Mosko.
