HE used to play a Broadway producer but Nathan Lane‘s coming back to the stage as a writer.

Lane will star as the legendary screenwriter and novelist Dalton Trumbo in “Trumbo” – written by Trumbo’s son, Christopher – from Aug. 26 through Sept. 21 at the Westside Theatre.

An earlier, sold-out run of “Trumbo” featured Lane, Richard Dreyfuss, Ed Harris, Roy Scheider and other stars alternating in the role.
