“The evolution has begun.”

So says a trailer for “Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous,” Netflix’s new take on the blockbuster dinosaur film franchise, set to debut in 2020.

DreamWorks Animation is behind the new animated series, which follows six teens as they experience an adventure camp on the Isla Nublar, only to be stranded and fighting for survival after dinosaurs cause widespread destruction, Variety reports.

Steven Spielberg will return as an executive producer.

Distributed by Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment, the first two “Jurassic World” franchise entries have grossed nearly $3 billion at the worldwide box office. Those films were preceded by the original hits “Jurassic Park,” “The Lost World: Jurassic Park” and “Jurassic Park III.”

The next Jurassic film installment is set to premiere June 11, 2021.
