Molly Shannon is set to star in a mother-daughter comedy for Fox, according to deadline.com.

The network is developing a comedy with the “Saturday Night Live” alum playing a woman at the top of her career who clashes with her stay-at-home pregnant daughter.

Shannon will serve as a producer on the project, which will be written by Bruce McCulloch (who directed her in 1999’s “Superstar”).

The actress recently had guest roles on HBO’s now-canceled “Enlightened” and “The Middle” (ABC). She is best known for working on “SNL” from 1995-2001.
