THE Rolling Stones‘ playlist has been shanghaied by the government of China only weeks before the band is set to perform there for the first time.

“Brown Sugar,” “Honky Tonk Women,” “Beast of Burden” and “Let’s Spend the Night Together” have been banned by China’s culture ministry.

Though no reason was given, all these tunes include sexual references.

Who knew the Stones were still subversive?
