GIGI Stone is out at NY1.

Stone, one of NY1’s most recognizable on-air reporters, quit the Time Warner-owned cable station yesterday.

Stone will become a reporter for BizNet TV, a business network affiliated with BusinessWeek magazine which airs “Business Week” every Sunday (10 a.m.) on Ch. 7.

Stone’s departure follows the exit of Jeff Simmons, another high-profile NY1 reporter who’s leaving after six years to work for city comptroller William Thompson Jr.

Stone, a New York native who joined NY1 in 1997, was the news network’s Queens reporter.

Before joining NY1, she was a general assignment reporter for WWAY, the ABC affiliate in Wilmington, N.C., and had done internships at MTV, ABC News and the public defender’s office in New London, Conn.
