FORMER B2K boy band member Omarian‘s debut disc crowned Billboard’s Top 200 Album Charts, boosted by the hot title track, “O.”
Omarian, whose former band had a hit with “Uh Huh” in 2002 before imploding, bowed at No. 1, selling 182,000 copies of “O” its first week out, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Grammy winners slipped a bit: Ray Charles’ “Genius Loves Company” fell off its top perch to No. 2, and Green Day‘s “American Idiot” fell from No. 2 to No. 3.
The Game, the former G-Unit rapper embroiled in a public feud with 50 Cent, saw his “The Documentary” slip from No. 3 to No. 4, but it’s now sold 1.4 million copies since its January release.
