Jennifer Love Hewitt’s could use a little help negotiating New York’s mean streets. “I’ve got to watch out for cabs,” the pretty 20-year-old laughs, describing how an impatient cabbie bumped her during rehearsal for her new show, “Time of Your Life.”

“I have the biggest bruise on my leg. He wanted to go and we asked him to hold on – it was right on my mark – he decided to go and hit me with front of his car. I couldn’t believe it, he was looking right at me.”
